Come meet the 2026–2027 board in person, hear quick updates on PTA projects, vote on the budget, and share your goals for our school community. Whether this is your first meeting ever or your umpteenth, you are welcome. It’s just one hour, and the easiest way to get plugged in! Agenda here.

Running Club begins today and you can still sign-up. Running club is a before-school activity that focuses on fun and fitness! Led by Mr. Acuna, students learn good running technique, and engage in track and field activities in a fun environment.

We’re so excited to kick off fall this weekend with you all! Pancakes will be flipping, bulbs will be planted and books will be read. We’ll see you in the courtyard on Saturday, September 26th from 10am – 12pm.

We highly encourage everyone to purchase your pancakes in advance. We will also accept day-of payment, via Venmo.

• $10 for regular or gluten free pancakes.
• Includes 2 pancakes, fruit, pastries and a drink (orange juice or coffee).

During the Fall Festival, the Green Team welcomes families to help plant bulbs around Bradford’s property. Volunteers will provide families with bulbs and hand shovels so children can place bulbs in pre-dug holes and cover them with soil. Come Spring they will be able to see the fruits of their work all over the grounds!

The 5th Grade Committee will be onsite selling pumpkins and decorating kits, as well as mystery bags to fundraise for their end-of-year activities.

As with every event, it wouldn’t be successful without the help of volunteers. Please consider signing up to help with setting up, serving pancakes, prepping for bulb planting or helping round out the Book Fair!

Get ready for a wonderful week of reading! The Bradford Book Fair starts today, running through Saturday, September 26. We are thrilled to partner once again with our wonderful local independent bookstore, Watchung Booksellers, to bring an incredible selection of books to our students. Your child will have the opportunity to visit the book fair during the school day with their class. (You can view the full schedule of class visiting times in the volunteer signup link below). If you would like your child to purchase a book during the school day, please remember to send money in with them. 

Every teacher has created a curated wishlist of titles they would love to have in their classrooms. You can browse and purchase these selections to help enrich our classroom libraries before the PTA meeting on Thursday, from 6:00 – 6:30PM.

If you are available to volunteer during the school day (or at the Fall Festival), we still have a few volunteers slots open. Volunteers will greet classes as they attend, help collect money, and keep the book displays neat and tidy.

Registration for Fall ASE classes will open on Sunday, September 27th at 8PM. PTA members will receive early access to registration. Class schedule and descriptions will be shared later this week and classes will begin on Monday, October 12th.

Sabor Montclair is back for its sixth year! Join us on Saturday, October 10, for a delicious takeout dinner celebrating the cultures and traditions that make Montclair so vibrant.

Enjoy authentic South and Central American takeout dishes prepared by mothers in MFEE’s Navegadores Escolares program, featuring the flavors and traditions they bring to our community. Your meal helps multilingual learners and their families overcome barriers to learning and thrive in our schools.

How it works:

• Donate and reserve your meal.
• Pick up your dinner between 5–8 p.m. at Union Congregational Church (176 Cooper Ave.).
• Volunteers will bring your food to your car—no parking hassle!
• Take your meal home and enjoy a delicious taste of Montclair.
